Layout Tips & Wording Ideas:

The images below are copies of the "sign wording" box on the Order Form .
Your sign will be printed with exactly the text you type - including spelling, and use of capital letters!
You may want to make a checklist of essential features.

Layout Tips

  1. The text is automatically centralised - the cursor blinks centrally as each new line starts.

  2. It isn't necessary to press the "return" key at the end of each line - unless you specifically want to start a new line. The text will "auto-wrap".

Large amounts of text will activate the scroll bar in this field. You can use up to 500 characters. The more characters you use, the more the text will be reduced (by Just-a-Sign) to fit into the printable area - approximately 305mm x 210mm.

  3. Think carefully about your use of capital letters. Capitalisation should be used sparingly, since it can be perceived as "visual shouting". Use "Title Case" if you want to avoid your text looking too "flat-footed". Title Case Capitalises the First Letter of Each Word - but often leaves out the smallest words.
